Welcome to 11+ Entry
We know that choosing the right school for your child can often be confusing and time consuming, so we try to make the process here at The Oratory as enjoyable and straightforward as possible.
Students enter the school at 11+ through an Assessment Day held here in the January preceding entry. The 11+ assessments are in the form of a Cognitive Ability Test (CAT), an English activity and an observed group activity.

Open Morning
Whole School Open Mornings take place in both the spring and autumn terms.
Please feel free to book a personal tour if you would like to visit the school immediately.
Personal Tour
An opportunity to visit the school and meet the Head to discuss your child's application.
Registration
To register your child, please complete a registration form and pay the registration fee.
Once your child is registered with us in Year 5 or Year 6, you will then receive information about our Taster Days and events.
Entrance Exam and Scholarships
The Entrance Exam and Scholarships are completed in the spring term of Year 6.
Offer of a place
A place is normally offered within 2 weeks of taking the Entrance Exam.
