The Oratory had fun celebrating Chinese New Year on Monday. Festivities began with a Chinese themed menu in our refectory, a delicious banquet that included sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken, vegan maple, chili and sesame stir fried aubergine, special fried rice, soy glazed green beans, spring rolls, prawn crackers and fortune cookies!

Lunch was then followed by a Chinese New Year themed assembly. It was wonderful to listen to JL, AF, EZ and JH's presentation on Chinese New Year, its history and its traditions. The presentation concluded with the the handing out of six lucky red envelopes!
