Oratory Drama's senior production of The Crucible

A vibrant arts program is a vital part of the school community and plays an important role in school life.
There is no end to the possibilities within performing arts when it comes to Oratory students, their well-being and building collaborative teams in the community, which all leads to happy and engaged students. Drama is absolutely at the heart of this and this was displayed at the Senior Production of 'The Crucible' on Friday 31 January.
The production was a whole school collaboration from Helena in 5th Form creating the trailer video; the student technical team, supported by JNC Events; the set design by Sophie in L6th Form; the backstage team managed by Edward in U6th Form and of course, all the actors who captivated the audience with their intense, realistic portrayal of the lives of those who suffered during the 17th century Salem witch trials.
Danielle Byrne, Head of Drama, says, "A heartfelt thank you to all the team for their tireless energy and commitment, and in particular to our A Level Theatre Studies U6th Form students who supported and mentored the cast, pulling out all the stops."
