Head of Oratory Racquets wins Real Tennis French Open and Singles Titles

Congratulations to Claire Fahey, Head of Oratory Racquets, who successfully defended her Real Tennis French Open singles and doubles titles last weekend.

Claire, who is the reigning Ladies Real Tennis World Champion, secured her 12th French Open crown with a comprehensive 6-1 6-2 victory over World Number 2 Lea Van Der Zwalmen before securing the doubles title, alongside Saskia Bollerman, 3/6 6/2 6/1 against Van Der Zwalmen and Jess Garside. Victory in Paris was Claire's 43rd Open singles title to go alongside her 7 World Singles & Doubles titles.

Claire says, "The Paris court is challenging. It is very bouncy and can be a bit of an equaliser. Despite having had a lot of success here, it is always an effort to adapt to the difficult conditions.” She will now set her sights on defending the Ladies World Championship in May 2025.
