A Level Success at The Oratory, 2024
The Oratory are very pleased with their A level results this year, which are a testament to the hard work and dedication of their students and their teachers.
Particular congratulations must go to the following subjects: Spanish for achieving 100% A*-A; Physics and Chemistry, both also 100% A*-A; Maths 63% A*-A, and History 100% A*-B. Overall, grades are above the national averages with the majority of students reaching their first choice university.
It is difficult to pick out just a few individual success stories from so many personal achievements, but special congratulations should go to School Captain, George, who has gained a place at Girton College, Cambridge University to read Geography; Milo for gaining a place at Edinburgh to read Modern History and Economics; Jake, who will be reading Mathematics and Physics at Warwick; Georgie, who is heading to University of London in Paris (ULIP) to read French Studies & Business, and Orla who will be reading Biochemistry at Nottingham.
Dr Julian Murphy, Head, says, “It is wonderful to see so many happy and excited students and their families in school today for A Level results. I am very proud of their achievements and of the wonderful support they have received from our dedicated teachers.”
The Oratory is looking forward to next Thursday and wish all GCSE students the best for their results.
