Oratory Football Success in the Central Independent Schools League
It’s been a fantastic season so far for Oratory Football as they top 4 out of 5 league tables in the Central Independent Schools League.
On Saturday 20 January, The Oratory 1st XI won 5-0 vs Wellington College seeing them secure the traditional Boot trophy. They were dominate from start to finish. The previous match had seen the team take on Radley College in a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, The Oratory 16A, 15A and 2nd XI teams top their leagues having also played tough opposition from Radley College and Wellington College.
Steve Tomlinson, Director of Sport says “Our football season has got off to a great start against some very strong teams and I am immensely proud of what our players have achieved across the board. We’re looking forward to the challenges ahead with our next set of matches vs Marlborough College this coming Saturday 3 February, followed by matches vs Abingdon School, Reading Blue Coat and St Edward’s, Oxford.”
