The Oratory is delighted to announce that the Oratory Netball 1st VII were runners-up in this week's Berkshire League Tournament as well as Berkshire League B Winners and 2nd VII Berkshire League C Tournament Winners!
The first Careers Breakfast Roundtable on Saturday 9 March was a huge success. Pupils were engaged and the speakers were excellent. The specialists for the event were Sarah Woodard, who works in Private Equity for EQT (Swiss firm), and Chris Jessop, an experienced Chairman and CEO of Healthcare Companies. The talk revolved around early career advice, skills students should develop, information on careers in the sector and the future workplace.
Oratory Science celebrated British Science Week 2024 with a whole host of exciting events held throughout the week.
The theme for International Women's Day this year is ‘Inspire Inclusion’ and parents, students and staff (male and female) joined together in this celebration to hear the reigning Ladies Real Tennis World Champion, Claire Fahey, speak on her inspiring journey in a male dominated sport.

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated on 11 February, is implemented by UNESCO and UN-Women to promote women and girls in science. Tackling some of the greatest global challenges we are facing, from improving health to combating climate change, will rely on harnessing all talent and IDWGS is a reminder that women and girls play a critical role in science and technology communities and that their participation should be strengthened.
3rd Form Latinists enjoyed an exciting 24 hours away in Bath this week. The weather wasn’t kind to us on Tuesday night, but we found our way from the station to the Premier Inn and then back to Pizza Express where we had a lovely group meal.
