The Oratory is delighted to have been awarded a 5-star ("very good") Food Hygiene Rating by the Food Standards Agency. 

The Food Standard Agency inspects businesses and schools to ensure food is safe, what it says it is, healthier and more sustainable.

Areas inspected at the school included:

• The hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage ("very good").
• The cleanliness and condition of facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control) to enable good food hygiene ("good").
• The management of food safety - an evaluation of the school's system and checks that are in place to ensure that all food sold and/or served is safe to eat, with evidence that our catering team know about food safety and that the food safety officer is confident that standards will be maintained in future ("very good").

Pip Cunningham, Catering Manager says "The team have worked incredibly hard to achieve this 5-star rating and we are incredibly pleased with this result."
