U6th Former is awarded runner-up in the InvestIn Photography Competition 2025

Congratulations to Mabel in U6th Form who has been awarded runner-up in the InvestIN annual photography competition!
This year’s theme was 'Inspiration For My Future Career' and the challenge was to take a photo of a person, place or moment that inspires you to pursue your dream career.
Mabel’s ‘Three Faces’ represents multiple personality disorder. She explains “studying A Level Psychology at The Oratory has given me an insight into the career path I would like to follow, which is helping young people with mental illnesses. I am interested in studying specialised mental health disorders because I want to be a therapist.”
InvestIN is an organisation that encourages and provides career experiences for students, and the judges gave some lovely feedback: “We were incredibly impressed with Mabel’s photography skills, they are clearly a talented artist. They interpreted a difficult topic in such a beautiful way, and we admire their mission to support young people and their mental health. Keep it up!”
Mabel, who also studies A level Photography at The Oratory, will receive one-to-one professional mentorship as part of her prize. Well done!
