Oratory Hockey Dinner with Guest Speaker, GB & England Hockey Player, Phil Roper
A wonderful Oratory Hockey dinner took place on Friday, celebrating a season that’s seen a double Berkshire League win for our 1st and 2nd teams - an incredible fourth time in a row for the 1st team!
A huge thank you to our inspirational guest speaker, current GB and England Hockey Player, Phil Roper, who made the formula for successful sport, and a successful life, so simple and accessible. It was a real honour to be in such esteemed company.

At the end of the dinner, Dr Murphy described watching the U16s play saying that when they are down they don’t turn on each other, instead they encourage, uplift and empower. He called them a true team and all our hockey teams the real spirit of The Oratory. He’s right.
